A Virginia Beach landowner is gearing up for a legal battle against the city over property he says is rightfully his.
Wayne McLeskey bought land in 1989 near the Virginia Beach Fishing Center at Rudee Inlet. He says he’s paid taxes on the property for the last 21 years.
Now, the city wants a piece of that land for a walkway under the Rudee Inlet Bridge.
