Eighth-annual Mid-Atlantic Rockfish Shootout overall winner Daddy’s Dream 3, which edged Wave Runner by less than a pound, banked $73,453. Wave Runner’s runner-up take of $34,833 wasn’t too shabby either.
Third place Bay Custom 3 walked away with $20,596.
The total payout for the event was $145,740 and brings the overall total payout for the shootout history to more than $1 million.
Congratulations to all in the field of 169 teams who competed for three days in some pretty frigid temperatures.
