In comments made today at a public hearing convened by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC), Coastal Conservation Association New York (CCA NY) condemned a proposal, officially designated as the Draft Addendum II to Amendment 6 to the Atlantic Striped Bass Interstate Fishery Management Plan, which would increase the coastal commercial striped bass quota by as much as 50 percent.
