A long standing tradition at the Viking Yacht Company is our commitment to introduce new models, which demonstrates our belief in building a better boat every day. This past year was no exception as we premiered three new models for 2014.
Our Viking 52 Convertible quickly gained notoriety as a hard-charging yet luxurious powerhouse, offering superb accommodations and outstanding performance. It represents all you have come to expect from Viking in a mid-size convertible package, and is an excellent addition to our extended product range.
Following the successful launches of the 42 Convertible and the 42 Open, our new 42 SC (Sport Coupe) is another attractive inclusion to the 2014 Viking lineup. Sharing the accommodating two-stateroom interior and command bridge of the popular 42 Open, the custom designed hardtop added a new twist with alluring styling and a truly unique profile that has attracted a host of experienced cruising yachtsmen.
Extending our capability to build a model within a model, we tapped our proficient subsidiary Palm Beach Towers and together we arrived at a third exciting new boat for 2014, the 42 ST (Sport Tower). The custom designed tuna tower, open back bulkhead and convenient overhead rod stowage are important elements for serious blue-water anglers. Both of these new 42 Vikings are powered with fuel efficient Cummins diesels and the Zeus pod-drive propulsion system, and each offers amazing maneuverability and convenience with its joy-stick controls.
