Mercury said the Bravo Three diesel propeller line is ideal for heavier boats powered by 250-hp to 350-hp diesel engines and matched with Bravo Three drives.
The company said its Bravo Three diesel propellers, featuring a durable matte finish, offer unmatched acceleration, holding and cavitation resistance because of their large-diameter, four-blade front propeller and smaller-diameter, three-blade rear propeller design.
“Today’s pressure-charged diesel engines generate a lot of torque at very low rpm,” Mercury Propellers director Dirk Bjornstad said in a statement. “The high rake and extra cup on the Bravo Three diesel propellers captures that power and holds the water, resulting in faster time to plane and superior cavitation and ventilation resistance on diesel-powered boats. They also provide more bow lift.”
Mercury said its new Bravo Three diesel propellers provide the best combination of performance and value available in the market for heavier boats with diesel power.
Bravo Three diesel propeller sets are available in 21-inch to 27-inch pitches in 2-inch increments and fit standard Bravo Three, Bravo Three X and Bravo Three XR drives.
The new Bravo Three Diesel propellers are available now.
