Searchers have located a vehicle in the Chesapeake Bay after it plunged into the chilly water from the bridge-tunnel earlier this morning. The vehicle, believed to have carried two people, was located between 10:15 and 10:30 a.m. by divers using sonar, police said. Divers, helicopters and a host of personnel from several agencies had searched for the vehicle, described as a silver SUV, after it went into the water about 8:25 a.m. The vehicle was located between the first and second tunnel where it was believed to have gone into the water. Authorities planned to anchor a search boat to the vehicle so they could send four divers with the Virginia Beach Marine Patro.
