Ric Burnley loves to cast out his knowledge.
Whether it’s in the classroom getting high schoolers to understand English or at home with his young daughter explaining the world, Burnley is passionate about teaching.
He shines the most, though, when he combines his fervor for educating with his love for fishing.
“My passion is teaching,” said Burnley, who spent time two weeks ago discussing various techniques of the angling world at the Virginia Beach stop of the Salt Water Sportsman National Seminar Series at the Convention Center.
“The more people know, the better it is for everybody.”
Burnley teaches English to at-risk high school students at Virginia Beach’s Renaissance Academy. He’s busy with family and home. And he loves to fish.
