PA Fishing workshop Feb. 26 features popular speakers

 

The seventh annual fishing workshop featuring in-depth and informative striped bass, flounder, tautog and cobia seminars will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hoffman Community Building on Park Avenue in Memorial Park in Quarryville, Pa.

The workshop will feature an impressive lineup of popular speakers and fishing tackle vendors:

Dr. Julie Ball, holder of 13 IGFA world records who has been featured in dozens of television shows and hundreds of magazine articles, will provide an informative presentation on how to catch big tautog on wrecks and structure.

Capt. Walt at Light Tackle Charters, a premier Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean guide, will discuss hot spots and productive techniques for big striped bass and cobia at Susquehanna Flats, Ocean City, Crisfield and Chincoteague, Va.

Jim Hutchinson, managing director of the Recreational Fishing Alliance (RFA) and former managing editor for The Fisherman magazine, will share how-to and where-to information about incredibly productive fishing for huge 25- to 45-pound striped bass around schools of bunker along the New Jersey coast.

Capt. Dave Shindler at Just Fishin’ Guide Service will provide innovative and productive techniques for catching flounder at Ocean City and other Mid-Atlantic locations.
