Capt. Ken Zwirko of Union won the 2010 American Striper Association Angler of the Year Award with his Team Bunker Down, sponsored by Atlas Reels. His six-bass total of 226.65-pounds during the year won by 27 pounds. Zwirko took the spring ASA Sandy Hook event, and was second at Cape May. Greg Nunn of Hillsborough finished third on Happy Daze with 189.35 pounds. The 2010 ASA Tournament concluded at Virginia Beach in conjunction with the Million Dollar Rockfish Challange From Dec. 30 to Jan. 2 after a delay created by 13 inches of snow that shut down Virginia Beach on the day of the captains meeting.
