A high-stakes fishing challenge is now underway in the waters off Virginia and North Carolina. The tournament was supposed to begin over the weekend, but the storm delayed its start.
Registration began in Virginia Beach Wednesday for the Million Dollar Rockfish Fish Challenge, and the tournament got underway Thursday with lines going in the water at 7 a.m.
“It’s almost too cold for everybody,” said fisherman Billy George.
