ATLANTIC — The Atlantic Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will host the 5th Annual Rockfish Derby on Dec. 4-5. This derby is a fundraiser for the fire company.
All prizes have been doubled this year, with the top cash prize of $1,000 to be awarded for the heaviest rockfish caught in the adult division. Total cash and prizes are valued at over $4,000.
Registration is $25 per angler and $15 per youth angler (12 and under). Registration deadline is Dec. 3 at the angler’s dinner meeting.
