Big striped bass in Delaware Bay

Delaware Bay seems to have striped bass from The Rips to the Maurice River cove.

Some of them top the 50-pound mark with one even hitting 60 pounds. They are biting on fresh or frozen bunker, live eels and spot. Troll for them away from the crowds on the Rips off Cape May.

Brennan Marine in Somers Point reported on a pretty decent catch on the Clean Sweep. Frank, Marina and Jack Sagen with Steve Singer racked up bass that weighed 39, 38.5, 32.5, 32 and 28.75. They were fishing Delaware Bay.
