Video and photos: Seal hangs out on dock at Rudee Inlet

A harbor seal was hanging out Saturday near some watercraft on a dock at BIG SAM’S Rudee Inlet.

Volunteers from the Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Team were observing the seal to make sure no people – or dogs – got close. The seal had what are believed to be bite marks from a shark on his back.
