Tom’s Flounder Filleting School

Everyone always asks how Tom fillets a flounder and gets one big fillet. Tip # 1 is get a good fillet knife sharp and flexible is key if you want to end up with the most meat.(we have plenty of them at the shop) Pictured below are both way to fillet a flounder the first pictures show how to get one fillet. The second set show the more conventional way, both are effective. Enjoy
