The US Coast Guard has started a search for four football players whose fishing boat did not return to its home port in Florida on Saturday. The boating group included two professional NFL football players, Corey Smith of the Detroit Lions, and Victor ("Marquis") Cooper of the Oakland Raiders. Nick Schuyler and William Bleakley, former University of South Florida football players, were also on board Cooper’s 6.4m (21ft) Everglades fishing boat.
