Delmarva Fishing Report

Boat anglers out of Lewes, Indian River Inlet and Ocean City reported a couple of days when winds and seas were calm enough to fish. According to reports, striped bass are still available in the waters within a mile or two of the beach. Most of the rockfish are hitting trolled baits, including Mann’s Stretch 25s and 30s, heavy shad bodies, Parachutes and umbrella rigs. Bait fishermen drifting eels over open bottom also reported action on rockfish, along with a surprising number of keeper flounder.
