Saturday, December 13th, 25 boats went out in cold, windy conditions, attempting to win the inaugural Bluewater ROCK Party tournament. Dawn Saturday broke with a strong northwest wind, and temperatures in the low 30’s. 7 am and it was lines in. Fishing ended at 2, with the scales closing at 3:30. In the end, it was Warren Hunnicutt fishing on Jay Long’s 26 Regulator "Feisty Lady" weighing in a 47.7 pounder taking the win. $1,888 was the check amount to the winners, along with a half model replica of Jay’s Regulator.
