Gander Mountain reports higher Q2 sales, lower net loss

  Gander Mountain Company today reported sales of US$252.9 million for its second quarter ended August 2, 2008, a 16.8 per cent increase over the same period a year ago. Sea turtles to be released at Cape Charles

A Virginia aquarium team will release three Kemp’s ridley sea turtles on the Eastern Shore today. The Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center said the release of the turtles, named Snap, Crackle and Pop, is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Cape Charles. Fountain President Resigns

Fountain Powerboat Industries president R. David Knight resigned from the company. Knight, who also served as president of its operating subsidiary Fountain Powerboats, left the company effective last Friday, according to a document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
