Yes, this past Sunday yet another blue marlin to report from Hatteras!!!……this one does enter the official release column for the Reel Escape Team!! This was number 4 in as many weeks just about and it seems the season just keeps getting better and better!!!!!!!
Still waiting for the photo to make its way to me since we did have several nice boat side photos and some video. This fish was estimated at 250 pounds and was taken boat side while still quite "green" and feisty!!….hats off to mate Robert Smith on an excellent leader and release on the big fish!!! To tide you over till the photo arrives I’ve attached a photo of a white marlin we caught just a few days before….a big white for sure and another excellent catch and safe release on that fish as well!!
